East Cooper Community Outreach

Ugandan Students  We as a church are supporting the higher education of 3 Ugandan Christian students.  Donations are accepted.

Meals on Wheels

United Methodist Relief Center is a local organization helping to build and repair houses for the elderly and others who live in inadequate housing in our community. We have started building a team of folks (intergenerational with women and men) who work on rebuilding homes for the needy in our community on sporadic dates.

Elderly Transportable Cottage.  Starting in January 2008 we began building an elderly transportable (ET) house for the UMRC right at the church.  All members of the congregation as well as interested friends are invited to give of their time on Saturday or weekdays to work as a team to build affordable housing.

Red Cross Blood Drive

Loaves and Fishes This project collects unused food from island visitors each Saturday morning between Memorial Day and Labor Day as they prepare to leave the town. The food is sorted and delivered to East Cooper Community Outreach.
